Your family records belong in your family. Here is what the current app stores, what it does not send, and how this website works.
The short version
No account. No ads. No upload of family records. Parent biometrics stay with Apple. The website is hosted by Cloudflare.
1. Scope of this policy
Migo World is a shared family tool for tasks, household rewards, and virtual savings. This policy covers the current local iPhone and iPad app and this website. The app and website handle data differently, as explained below.
2. Family records stay on the device
The app does not require registration or sign-in and does not create a cloud family account. Tasks, gifts, reward amounts, completion history, redemptions, Migo Coin balances, savings records, and companions are saved in local storage on the current device. We do not upload these records from the app to our servers. Records on separate devices are independent; the current version does not provide cloud sync.
3. Parent PIN and biometrics
Information used to verify the parent PIN is stored in the device Keychain as a random salt and a derived hash. The app does not store the PIN in plain text. Face ID and Touch ID are handled by Apple's system authentication. The app receives only the authentication result; it does not access or store facial or fingerprint data. Parent authentication data is not sent to our website.
4. No advertising tracking or transmission of child records
The current app has no ads, third-party analytics, or advertising tracking SDKs. It does not provide social chat, public profiles, or external sharing of child records. Core use does not require a network connection. Children are not asked to provide a name, email, phone number, address, photo, or location. Parents can write task and reward descriptions; please avoid including sensitive personal information.
5. Retention, management, and deletion
Family records remain on the device until you delete the relevant tasks or rewards, clear app data, or delete the app. Deleting a task template may not delete historical activity. Deleting the app through iOS generally removes local app data; parent verification information in Keychain may remain. Whether system backups include or restore app data depends on your Apple device and backup settings. We cannot access those backups. Please keep the device and any important records safe. There is no cloud recovery service in the current version.
6. Children and virtual family rewards
The app is intended for use with a parent. Parents manage tasks, confirmations, gift approvals, and savings rules. Migo Coins are virtual household rewards, not real currency. They cannot be purchased, withdrawn as cash, or transferred to other users. The bank does not provide real deposits, payments, investments, or financial services.
7. Visiting this website
Cloudflare hosts and delivers this website. When your browser requests a page, Cloudflare may process basic network request information such as IP address, time, requested address, and browser information to deliver content, operate the service, and protect it. This website has no forms, ads, cookie analytics tools, or visitor tracking scripts, and does not receive family records from the app. For the infrastructure provider's data practices, see the Cloudflare Privacy Policy.
8. Contact and policy changes
For questions about privacy, parent authentication, or local records, visit our support and feedback page. If future versions introduce networking, synchronization, or other data processing, we will update this policy and provide explanations and relevant choices where needed.
